The willpower to overcome.  Dave just won the personal achievement of earning his Brown Belt.  With an emphasis on "earning".  We all have some physical limitations of one sort or another, some more extreme than others, but Dave managed to not only endure but excel at his Brown Belt Board Test.
     Dave's easy go nature makes it easy to be his friend, and you know he's always paying attention because he's the first to raise his hand when a question is asked, and he's almost always right.  Seeing his performance during his Brown Belt test made the instructors proud of him, and also raised the bar on our expectations of him.   Congratulations on your recent achievement Dave, you should wear the Brown Belt proudly having worked so hard to earn it, and were all looking forward to your next, and biggest, board test.
