Hardcore. Drew started out in our K.I.C.K. program
(Karate Inspired Cardio Kickboxing), but his intense "hardcore" work
ethic left him hungering for more. He then joined our Karate
program and not only did he excel and get his yellow belt at record
breaking time, but he quickly asserted himself as a dominant force
in fighting in the adult program.
It's hard not to like Drew, the smiles you see above
are plentiful and the respect he gives his instructors and fellow
students breeds respect in return. He only has one workout
speed as I mentioned above... hardcore. Everything he does is
done with full power and focus, throwing everything he has
physically into every aspect of his training. Since joining
Karate, he still works out regularly in our cardio program, and
Drew's intensity level has led him to a personal fitness achievement
also, as the pounds keep falling off and he gets faster and
stronger.
It was always a pleasure to have you in our K.I.C.K.
program Drew, and it's downright exciting to have you as a part of
our Karate program. Awesome job. To access our "Student of
the Month Archives", click below:

We are now
undergoing a Uniform Change at our Karate School. We have
been wearing our current Gi's for many years, but unfortunately
we can no longer get them from our supplier, so we are changing
the uniforms to the one shown above.
The new uniform of solid black pants and a solid red
top has been worn for years by myself (Sensei Butch) and closely
resembles our old uniforms and school colors.
The change will go in effect immediately, and all new
students signing up will receive the newer Gi. As always,
nobody is required to switch to the new Gi, you are welcome to
wear your current one until it needs replacement due to wear or
being outgrown.
We also are excited about the new "traditional" look of
the Gi's we will now be wearing, and have no fear of needing to
change them in the future.
NOTE! Remember
PATCHES are required on all Gi's! We have noticed that a
lot of students GI's have either no patches or are missing
patches on them. If you know or think you are missing
patches, please see Mrs. Kim as soon as possible. |
