What can we say?
Madonna. It's been 5 years since she has been student of the
month, but her passion for the martial arts is as strong as ever.
Madonna was
officially named UWMA'S first Orange Belt on Saturday, January 24th.
She has come a long way from the orange
belt she was back then, both emotionally and physically. In
the last 5 years she has won many awards from her talents as a
martial artist, but more importantly she has won many friends, both
from the students and from the instructors.
She has developed into a great teacher, sharing her
love for Karate with those she instructs. Her fellow students
admire her, and she is definitely a good role model.
When she was chosen as student of the month 5 years
ago, we wrote "We know we
have a talented martial artist in our midst", in this case we
couldn't of been more accurate. We are truly blessed to have
Madonna as a student and instructor.

Great job on the paintjob and great job at the Erie County Fair
Smash Up Derby Andrew! Andrew painted the car with perfect
replicas of all our UWMA Logos, and then represented us with respect
in the second last round at the Fair's Derby. Being a two time
previous winner of the derby, he was up against ALL the previous
winners in the toughest bout, and in spite of the tough competition,
Andrew still almost made it to the final round. Great job on
the paintjob Andrew, you took 1st place with us! |
