Sam, intense karate with a touch of humor.  As you can tell by the smiling pictures, not only does Sam enjoy Martial Arts, but he attacks life in general with the same zest and happiness making it impossible not to be effected by his positive attitude.  Sam is always a joy to teach and a friend to all.
As Sam works hard towards his blue belt, there isn't one doubt that his martial arts ability can carry him easily there, and much further, but we all hope he takes his time on the way there because Sam's presence on the dojo floor makes our karate school a much brighter place.  Keep up the hard work Sam, and keep smiling.

Seven students from our Dojo traveled to Atlanta, GA to compete in a national tournament with over 2,000 competitors.  The Battle of Atlanta is one of the largest martial arts tournaments in the country, with competitors from United States, Canada, Japan and many other countries.  UWMA sent, from left to right: Mickey Deet, Jonathan Rivera, Madonna Adymy, Nick Silverstri, Bob Sceusa, Chase Klawon & Mike Thompson.  These seven students won 18 trophies, 5 first place, 7 second place, 5 third place and 1 4th place.  Master Sam Sanchez and Sensei Butch Klawon as owners of UWMA Karate are proud of their students who properly and respectfully represented the Western NY area.  Good Job Guys!
