Nick was one of the first
students to sign up at our Karate School almost four years ago.
He works as hard today as he did that first day.
Nick, usually showing off his acrobatic and athletic
talents as a longtime member of the Demo Team, just recently
got promoted to Blue Belt.
His pleasant, helpful and friendly personality
also just got him picked to be among the few who can call themselves
"Instructor" at our school. Although he starts with the
"Trainee" Instructor patch, we know it won't be long before he
reaches full status, because Nick has a "never quit" attitude which
should carry him far in life's pursuits.
Congratulations Nick on your Blue Belt, but even more
important, thanks for being a member of our "Dojo Family" and
brightening our classes with your personality. To access our "Student of
the Month Archives", click below:

Just a "reminder" that
once you become a student at UWMA, we guarantee you that your
membership fees will NEVER go up. Ever.
We have been open almost 4 years now, and we have a lot of
students who signed up when we first opened, and 4 years later they
still pay the same price today as they did then. So if
inflation ever forces us to increase our monthly rates, as long as
you keep your membership active, your rates will never go up.
(Unfortunately, if you let your membership lapse 6 months or more,
you will have to pay the current prices upon returning.)
Also remember that our "referral" discount is still
active! For each person you refer to us, you will receive a
discount off your monthly dues as long as they remain active.
See Sempai Kim for further information.

As
of June 1st, students may wear their "Summer" Karate Uniforms.
This simply means that they may wear their Black UWMA Karate Tee
Shirts instead of their Gi Tops. They are still required to
wear their Gi Pants, with their Tee Shirts neatly tucked inside.
Their Karate Belts are worn and tied as normal. If the student
wishes, he may still wear his Karate Gi as normal (Top & Bottoms). |
