What can I say.  Focus, determination and persistence must run in the family.  Jake's youngest brother, Luke, excels in our "little Ninja's program (3 to 5 yr olds), and Jake's other younger brother Aaron was chosen as this years "February" student of the month.  Now it's Jake's turn to shine as he definitely caught our eye the last few month's.
       Jake has always shown us nothing but total focus in every workout, but the last few month's he has stepped it up a notch even by his standards.  If you've ever seen his facial expressions (shown in the flanking pictures above), you know what we mean by putting forth full effort and power, but what makes him complete is the amount of smiles he manages to sneak in (middle pic!).
     He is well on his way to his Blue Belt, no easy achievement at our school, but you can tell his focus is on the black.  We have no doubts he will get there.   Jake, keep up the hard work and awesome power, and we'll help you develop that natural talent you were born with.  Great Job Jake!
